Each 131 environmental speaker has a tuned, ported enclosure and a proprietary Bose® full-range driver for full, deep bass and clear, crisp high frequencies. Moreover, because they are designed to fit into a boat's pre-cut speaker holes, you can easily flush-mount 131 speakers for a neat, professional appearance. There is even an installation kit with mounting hardware included.

We put our 131 environmental speakers through test after test, and they came through with flying colours – withstanding temperature extremes of 70ºC (158ºF) to -25ºC (-13ºF), and surviving the Salt Fog Test 66% longer than the demanding Marine Industry Standard.
